Angelina Jolie is reportedly set to play Cleopatra in a new movie she is developing about the legendary Egyptian queen.
The "Wanted" star is set to follow in the footsteps of Elizabeth Taylor by playing the ancient beauty in a new film based on author Stacy Schiff's biography "Cleopatra: A Life."
Producer Scott Rudin has confirmed that the project is "being developed for and with Jolie," according to USA Today.
Catherine Zeta-Jones is also in talks to play the Egyptian ruler in a 3D musical to be directed by Steven Soderbergh, with Hugh Jackman as Cleopatra's lover Marc Antony.
