Zindagi Na Milegi...: Box Office Collections Cross Rs 110 Crore

Mumbai, Jul 28:Zindagi Na Milegi Dobbara’ (ZNMD), the movie directed by Zoya Akthar and released by Eros International, starring Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin, and Katrina Kaif, has so far grossed over Rs 110 crore (Rs 1100 million) in just 11 days since its release.

Jubilant with the figures, an Eros International official says, “ZNMD has seen excellent earnings nationwide as well as abroad, especially in multiplexes. An estimated Rs 800 million rupees gross collection is from the domestic market and the rest from across the globe. This is beyond our expectations, and we are jubilant about it.”

Earlier, it was reported that the movie was released on 1,800 screens worldwide. The initial response (during the first weekend) was indeed superb with both single screens and multiplexes running houseful.

According to analysts, the movie is going to dominate the metro multiplexes for the next couple of weeks.

Katrina Kaif’s life in the Bollywood industry

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has made her way through the Bollywood Industry. When she entered she could not speak Hindi at all and did not know anything. But now she is one of the most wanted actresses of the industry. Her debut film was ‘Boom’ which was directed by Kaizad Gustad. However it failed to make an impact in the industry as well as in the minds of the audience. But Katrina never chose to walk out. Instead she determined that she will make her position in the Bollywood industry. After that there was no looking back for the actress.

Katrina’s parents are of a British-Indian origin. She was originally a model from London from where she actually began her career. At the Fashion Week in London, she did a ramp walk. At this time only she met director Kaizad Gustad who casted her in her debut film ‘Boom’. During this film she was introduced to top actors and models of the Bollywood industry. But she did not give up hope after her film went a dud. She packed her bags and went off to Mumbai. During her modeling days in Mumbai, she bagged a role in Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Sarkar’.

Her first film in a proper role was ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’ which starred her ex-boyfriend Salman Khan. It was only due to Salman Khan could she bag another film for herself in Bollywood. Thereafter her film ‘Namastey London’ came which was directed by Vipul Shah. She played the role of a spoilt British-Indian girl who was more British and less Indian due to which she was often misunderstood by her father. Her performance was highly appreciated by everybody in the industry. By doing this film Katrina climbed another step in the ladder which led to her success.

After that she bagged films like Partner, Race, Welcome, New York, Singh Is King etc. There was no looking back after that. She also starred in the major political drama movie ‘Rajneeti’ opposite Ranbeer Kapoor. During that time she broke up with her long time boyfriend Salman Khan. Unlike Salman and Aishwarya, Katrina is in talking terms with Salman. Her last movie was ‘Tees Maar Khan’ in which her item number ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ was extremely popular. Katrina is now one of the most popular faces in the Bollywood industry as well as amongst the audience. Her face was selected as the Indian version of Barbie Doll.

Zoom Supernova 2010: Top 50

Katrina Kaif

If the people on the zoOm Supernova list, shut shop or moved away, Bollywood as we know it would cease to exist. Or be unrecognizable in the very least.

That's the kind of power they wield over the film industry. Sure, they may not be able to move mountains or walk on water (just yet) but it's amazing what they can accomplish with their star pull. The folks on this list are supernovas in every sense of the term, with the Top 10, holding the clout to change fortunes. Be it numero uno Salman Khan, who made a complete newbie (Sonakshi) a household name with just one film and showed an ex (Katrina Kaif), that managing without him in B-Town would be difficult despite her own meteoric rise or an Aamir Khan, who's widely considered the maai-baap of marketing, Rajinikanth who is a demigod unto himself, for Shah Rukh Khan who may be lower down the order but is the preacher of the power of PR (public relations) and has a stranglehold on the overseas market, they're all masters of the game. It took A R Rahman's awesome music to propel a film like Slumdog Millionaire and an acting veteran like Anil Kapoor into the Hollywood stratosphere. And how can we forget Katrina Kaif, the Sheila who salvaged the initial opening of Tees Maar Khan with her moves in one scorching item number and is the only gal on our top 10. Together, they make the B-Town world go round...

Katrina Kaif She talks about being the only actress in the Top 10 of the Zoom Supernova list

What do you attribute your enviable position in the industry to?
Luck and being honest and sincere about work has worked for me and helped me reach where I am. You don't really know how your film is going to turn out, but you can give it your best shot and hope the audience loves it. This has been my approach right from the beginning and it's helped me a lot in my journey. All you can do is give the film your everything. I think what has also worked is that I have been able to relate to the characters I have played. Maybe, deep down the audience has connected to these roles and liked them.

Who do you consider your fan base?
I would like to believe it transcends all ages and barriers. I look forward to meeting fans during promotions when I travel across the country. It's humbling to see their love and support. Also I look out for tips that some give me. Like if they don't like something I did or loved a particular role or scene, I try to keep that in mind as a reference point in the future. It's always nice to get feedback from your fans.

What kind of films excite you?

I make an attempt to do different kinds of films. There's no such formula for guaranteed success. Like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara worked because of sheer sincerity.

How important are your fans?
I want to thank them for giving me so much love and acceptance, even with my flaws, be it my diction or anything else. They have stood by me and always believed in my work. I will keep doing work that won't ever let my fans down.

And now, Salman to join Katrina for an Item song

Aaya re aaya bodyguard…. that’s the item song which Katrina would be joyously gyrating to in Bodyguard. Even as Katrina gears up for the challenge of outdoing her Sheila ki jawaani number she has a bigger challenge to meet up to.

Salman Khan, aka the King Of All He Surveys, will also be part of the song. Apparently he reasoned that since the song is about his character, Bodyguard ka hona to haq banta hai, boss. Now Ganesh Acharya has been asked to incorporate Salman into Katrina’s elaborate item number.

Apparently Salman wants the number structured like Sheila ki jawaani where Akshay Kumar joins Katrina. That is easier said than done.

Says a source, “Salman likes to do his own thing in the dance numbers. Everyone knows in Munni badnam he didn’t follow Farah Khan’s instructions. Katrina will be rigorously rehearsing her steps for Aaya re aaya bodyguard.

She wants it to be as perfect as Sheila ki jawaani. Salman’s improvisations are bound to distract her. But the there is not much she can do about it. Because as Salman pointed out the song is about about him, so he has to be part of it. ”

Bodyguard producer Atul Agnihotri confirms that Salman would be part of Katrina’s item number.

BJP to woo Katrina

Enthused by her 'half-Indian' comment on Rahul Gandhi, the saffron party wants her to campaign for them in the BMC and Uttar Pradesh elections

The old chestnut of the dynasty's foreign origin is back in the floodlights.

The BJP has got a foot in edgewise into the uproar surrounding actor Katrina Kaif's statement last week calling Congress scion Rahul Gandhi "half-Indian, half-Italian".

Even as a piqued Congress scorned the actor "to what level do you want to bring down the political discourse in the country", one of its spokespersons said the saffron party has hailed her as their pin-up girl for the Uttar Pradesh and the BMC elections next year. It wants her to campaign for it.

Raj K Purohit, the city chief of BJP, said that the party would try its best to get Kat for drumming up support in the campaign preceding the impending elections. "We welcome her and will try to get her to be part of our rallies and meetings.

What she said is not wrong. Instead, she is the first person to say this in public. We fully support her, " said Purohit.

Although the willowy actor has apologised for her remarks, the BJP has found enough ammunition in her words to let loose in the pre-election canvassing.

And if the saffron party has its way, the actor might get into the skin of her character in Rajneeti for real. Poor GK of samosa..

Members of the saffron party also believe that Kat has given voice to the sentiment of millions of Indians about the Congress general secretary's origin. "Whatever Katrina said was not incorrect.

She has just echoed the sentiments of crores of Hindustanis. Also, she never retracted her statement. What she said was that if her statement has hurt anyone, she was sorry, " said Surya Pratap Shahi, president, BJP Uttar Pradesh unit.

Shahi illustrated how Katrina's statement rings true. "Rahul doesn't even know what a samosa is. Which Indian wouldn't know that? How can such a person be the face of the nation?"

Crowd-puller

Reportedly, the BJP has firmly resolved to encash on the actor's mass appeal.

If Katrina does decide to play ball with the party, it can expect to have an upper hand in the electioneering, at leastin UP. For, in the star-smitten plains, the bigger the actor, the bigger the crowd it draws.

To wit, in 2009, when Jaya Prada had contested for the Rajya Sabha elections on a Samajwadi Party ticket from Rampur, she managed to win against BJPs's Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.

In the event the cine star refuses to plunge into political gamesmanship, the party wields a plan B. "We will use her statement and her pictures which will also make an impact, " said a party insider.

But Katrina wants to stay off the list of controversy-churning stars. A spokesperson for Katrina said, "She doesn't want to comment on anything related to this."

BJP's star power
Shatrughan Sinha
Vinod Khanna
Smriti Irani
Hema Malini
Navjot Singh Sidhu

What Kat said
Last week, in an interview to a newspaper, Katrina Kaif had reportedly said, "Am I supposed to be ashamed that I am half-Asian, I mean, no! Rahul Gandhi is half-Indian, half-Italian.

So? I am very proud of what I am and I just don't understand the confusion as if I'm trying to hide the fact that my mother's a British. Why would I?"

Loose lips
The BJP has also been at the receiving end of such politically damaging statements, and from within its ranks. In 2004, soap star and BJP leader Smriti Irani had said that Gujarat CM Narendra Modi should resign on account of the Godhra riots.

As big a blunder as the statement proved for her, party chief Nitin Gadkari and other senior leaders rushed to the set Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and asked Irani to retract her statement and apologise unconditionally. The actress complied.

Why Katrina chose Ranbir over Aamir

Actress Katrina Kaif opted out of Aditya Chopra's Dhoom 3 to work with ex beau Ranbir Kapoor in Karan Johar's next.

According to reports, Katrina had committed to a film with Karan Johar long time back, and was also supposed to star in Yash Raj banner's Dhoom 3 starring Aamir Khan. Since both the films are scheduled to go on the floors at the same time, so Kat was forced to choose between the two films. Since it was a difficult decision, instead of taking the call herself, the sensible star decided to play it safe.

"She asked both her filmmakers to sit together and take a call on which film she should do," reveals a source close to her.

The source adds, "Katrina has worked with a lot of big banners, but for some reason she has not got the opportunity to work with Dharma Productions. Karan and she were very keen on working together, and were waiting for the right film to come their way."

Reportedly, she was supposed to star in Karan's Dostana sequel. But since it has been put on a backburner, Karan offered her his next Ayaan Mukherjee's film starring Ranbir.

On the other hand, Aditya Chopra was very keen to have Katrina in Dhoom 3. He thought she would be perfect, and her pairing with Aamir would bring on a whiff of freshness.

"Couldn't the filmmakers shift their dates if both of them were so keen on casting Katrina? The source explains, "Adi can't tell Aamir to shift his dates for an actress. And Ranbir's dates can't be moved because he has a packed schedule. So the only option left was for Katrina to choose either of the films. Adi spoke with Karan over phone and they mutually decided that Katrina should do Karan's film. With heavy heart, Adi gave away his actress to Karan since the latter has never worked with her."

The source says, "It's been a difficult decision for Katrina as well. She was looking forward to working with Aamir, and is quite disheartened to let go of such a good opportunity."

Well, there is still hope for Katrina, that is, if Aamir Khan decides to shift his dates.

Katrina Kaif apologises for Rahul Gandhi remark

Katrina Kaif has apologised for her statement that Rahul Gandhi is half-Indian and half-Italian just like she is half British and half Indian.

The star feels her remarks made during an interview were misconstrued.

Kat had earned the wrath of the Congress party when its spokesperson stated: "Who is she? I do not know. Tomorrow, you will ask for our reaction on the statement of Johny Lever.

To what level you want to bring down the level of the political discourse in the country?"

Next time Kat will be doubly guarded before even saying anything about Rahul baba!

Katrina spends a day in Salman's house

Katrina Kaif has very quickly climbed to the top position in Bollywood giving scare to some of her counterparts in the film industry.
Katrina Kaif brought in her birthday on July 15 by booking a table for herself at a fancy Chinese restaurant two blocks away from her own home.

Present for the dinner were Arjun Kapoor(Boney Kapoor's son)Ayan Mukerjee(Wake Up Sid), Kabir Khan( New York) and Alvira Agnihotri(Salman's younger sister).

The next day July 16(her birthday) Katrina spent a part of her day promoting ZNMD as is reported in the media. But what no one knows is that she then drove to Salman's house(Galaxy Apartments, Bandstand) for a special birthday lunch.

The menu was kheema-pav, rajma-chawal and a lot of other specialities that the Khan household is famous for.

Says a source, For once Kat ate to her hearts content with no diet constraints. Later in the evening, she spent time with her personal assistant Sandhya and her team planning the look test for her film Ek Tha Tiger. Today Katrina will spend the day doing her look test. Salman Khan is on his farm at Panvel

And though he was expected to join Kat for the test, he is likely to rehearse for a song for his next release Bodyguard instead.''

Katrina kaif slams reports about birthday celebration

In 2008, it was a public spat between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. This year it's a much-criticised party and reports of meeting ex-Salman Khan and could-be lover Ranbir Kapoor at midnight. Katrina Kaif, it seems, cannot have a normal birthday party. The beautiful actor turned 27 on Saturday. Reports surfaced over the weekend that she met her ex Salman Khan on the eve of her birthday and met Ranbir Kapoor at a multiplex.

She also faced flak for partying at Sah Rukh Khan's bash on Friday.

"Nope. No celebrations for me. I guess it's not meant to be. No party for my birthdays. I was with my Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara team on Friday night. We did nothing to bring in my birthday. My friends Arjun Kapoor, Kabir Khan etc. had a quiet dinner at a Chinese restaurant," the Namaste London actor told Subhash K. Jha at Bollywoodhungama.com,
"In any case, I don't believe in bringing in birthdays. My birthday was on Saturday. I spent it quietly with my mother. And I did not meet Ranbir or Salman on Friday night."

After the fiasco of 2008, Katrina is reported to have been put off by birthday parties, until this year. She had planned a bash for friends, but could not see it through because of the Mumbai blasts on Wednesday.
"She was promoting her new film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara with the cast and crew on Friday until midnight when everyone decided it was time to bring in her birthday. Katrina refused, arguing that any kind of celebration at this time would be odd. Someone pointed out to her that it was a very private get-together and not a party. But Katrina refused outright arguing that it wasn't about right or wrong but about not feeling up to it," a source explained to Bollywoodhungama.com.

"She did put an appearance at Shah Rukh's home since Shah Rukh had thrown the party for the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara team... it'd have looked odd if she went missing," the source added.

Shah Rukh has faced his fair share of criticism for partying so close to the horrific Mumbai blasts from none other than Bal Thackery himself.

"The best birthday gift I can hope for? To find love this year, and for my films to do well. And also to keep Mumbai free of attacks," said Katrina,

"We can't ever begin to feel normal and do normal things like celebrate birthdays or even go out with friends if we have the fear of violence hanging on our heads all the time," believes the actor.

Kat meets Sallu, SRK on birthday

Actor Katrina Kaif is striking a perfect balance by being close to both the Khans —Salman and Shah Rukh. Kat, who celebrated her 27th birthday on Saturday, first met Salman on the sets of his film Bodyguard in Mumbai and later attended a surprise birthday bash organised by Shah Rukh

Kat spent a long time with Salman and reached SRK’s house, Mannat, only at 5am. According to sources, the party was meant to be a success bash for the Katrina-Hrithik Roshan starrer Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and later turned into a birthday party, where Kat even cut a cake. It may be recalled that three years ago, Salman and SRK had a huge fight on Kat’s birthday and ever since the actor chose to stay away from Mumbai on her birthday. However, this time she decided to stick around and play the diplomat.

A controversy has ensued nevertheless and SRK is now under heavy criticism for hosting a party just two days after the serial blasts in Mumbai.

What are Katrina and Ali Zafar up to?

What are Katrina and Ali Zafar up to? Pakistani pop star Ali Zafar and our own Katrina Kaif are now back planning their live gigs. Ali being a seasoned stage performer has a headstart. But we understand Imran Khan and Katrina would be burning up a lot of live energy at rehearsals before they actually go on stage.

Says Ali, “Yes, that’s the plan. I have been told Katrina and Imran will be joining me on stage. Agreed they aren’t musicians. But we’re all performers and part of one project We start as soon as I return to India. ”

Ali has been asked by Yashraj Films the producers of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan to help Katrina and Imran acclimatize themselves to live performances.

Says Ali modestly, “Maybe my USP is live singing. But they will take to the stage quickly. I know we’ll have fun. ”

Ali Zafar, recently voted the hottest male actor of 2011 in a survey, will soon be in India to star in another film. “Before I do David Dhawan’s Chashme Buddoor I’ve signed another film in Mumbai. As for being voted the hottest star I’m grateful to all my fans who have voted for me. ”

Apparently Ali’s closest competitor Ranveer Singh is upset about losing the ‘hottest’ crown to Ali.

Turning supremely diplomatic Ali says, “I’ve met Ranveer. He was extremely sweet and nice. I really like him. He’s super-talented. I wish him all the best. ”

ZNMD with 3 girls would have been difficult: Katrina

Katrina Kaif

It is a pleasant coincidence that Katrina Kaif's film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is releasing on the eve of her birthday. In an exclusive and extensive conversation with Gaurav Malani, Katrina Kaif speaks about her films, birthday plans and more.

Your last birthday was celebrated while shooting for this film in Spain
Yea! I was away from home with just the film's cast and crew. We went out for a dinner to a Spanish restaurant. And coincidentally the film is now releasing on the eve of my birthday.

Any special birthday plans this year?
It all depends on what happens to the film. I am really hoping and praying it does well.

What is your idea of living zindagi to the fullest?
Balancing what is the right thing to do and what you really want to do! Balancing what you want and what is expected out of you! I think a lot of us make decisions of what is expected from us and not from what we want. There is no point in working so hard and not being happy.

But you seem to have worked real hard on this film and mastered outdoor sports like dirt-biking and scuba diving.
I have ridden bikes before. But the bike in this film was much heavier and bigger. So I had to train in between the shooting days in Spain. For scuba- diving, I trained in the pool for 4-5 days but when we went on location, we were shooting in the sea which was very rough, choppy and a different experience. That's when I realized I hadn't trained enough.

Any moment of adventure that scared you?
On one of the diving days I went completely out of control, because you get pushed around under the water. You can't come up quickly to the top. That was probably the scariest moment for me.

Did you miss trying your hands at sky-diving that the boys do in the film?
I am very lucky and privileged that I was not required for sky-diving. I am not sure if I would have done that.

What happens to your plans of riding a bike across Mumbai streets?
I do want to ride a bike but riding in and around Mumbai would not be much fun because you don't want people to keep following you on the roads. But maybe I can find another place to ride and that would be fun.

How was the experience of getting dirty with tomatoes?
Oh, the Tomatina festival is exactly like what Holi is for us. It happens in Spain every year where everyone plays music on streets, there's water, there's dancing and there's this whole playing with the tomatoes thing. It took us three days to shoot the song and it felt kind of gross after a while. But it was fun.

What is the craziest thing that you would want to do in life?
Crazy doesn't have to mean jump out of an airplane. It doesn't mean Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara toh jump out of an airplane or go scuba-diving or do something crazy. It's also about the decisions you make in life. If you are under pressure to get married just because you are not going to live your life again, you shouldn't be doing that. If you are in a job you hate, you shouldn't be doing that. If you only think about money, you need to re-look at that a bit. It's not just about the adventure it's kind of a paradox.

Would you call ZNMD a road film?
I don't know what a road film means. Every film needs to have a setting the road trip is just incidental to the film. This film is shot in Spain where they are on a road journey.

With ZNMD primarily being a film about male-bonding, how much scope do you have in the film?
Well, the story is primarily about these three boys, their journey in their life and the decisions they make. It's like a coming-of-age film. What worked for me is that I absolutely loved the film and wanted to be a part of it. It doesn't matter if I am there in every scene or not.

And really hats off to Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay to do this film together. They are all stars in their own right and do different kinds of cinema. But they still came together and put aside things like who has more lines and who has more scenes. It would have been very difficult to get three girls to do a film like this.

So did you and Kalki have problems with each other?
It is so unfair on Kalki. She is such a sweet little girl and new in the industry. It's not right to picture her like that and throw her into the deep end.

Who, do you think, is the hottest amongst Hrithik, Abhay, Farhan?
Two of them are happily married and the third is happily taken, so I will save my opinion.

Is your screen-chemistry with Hrithik, the best you ever shared with an actor?
That is not for me to say. The audience's decision is always right in that context.

Finally which is the weirdest rumour you have heard about yourself?
I have lost count. And it doesn't matter anymore.

Kat, Salman refuse lip lock scene in 'Ek Tha Tiger'

I was delighted to work with Katrina: Hrithik Roshan

Farhan Akhtar complained that he was only being asked questions that had one-word answers. "Please, guys, ask me other things – I want to talk!" he said.

Did you all have any bad experiences on the trip, or feel that this was a bad idea?
Farhan: No.

Some people say this film looks like it takes off from "Dil Chahta Hai". Is it like that?
Farhan: No.

Do you really believe life should be lived to the fullest, since we have only one life?
Farhan: Haan.
Katrina: Farhan's taught me a song that has only three chords, so now I can actually play a whole song on guitar.
Hrithik (on being asked about Katrina as a co-star): I hadn't seen any of her films before this, but I was delighted to work with her. What I've seen her do is not even 10% of what she's capable of.
Katrina: Thank you, Hrithik, for not seeing any of my films. I've seen all of his, by the way.
Hrithik (on the toll booth experience on the highway between Ahmedabad and Jaipur): I had to call out to people to make them look up at me, otherwise most of them were like, 'chal jaldi kar na'. But once they did, they were very happy, I'm sure, because our producer paid for all their cars!

On being asked what they want to do in this one life:
Ritesh: I want to do a film course next year.
Zoya: I want to do something for my city, Mumbai – the roads, cleanliness.
Farhan: Katrina will tell you what I want to do.
Kat: He wants to be part of a band, part of a skydiving competition club, and he wants to write a book. See how well I know my friends!
Abhay: I want to build houses for the poor.
Kat: And I want to help Abhay build houses for the poor.
Abhay: Promise? Seriously, let's shake on it. I'm going to call you up on that, you know!
Kat: OMG, everyone's answers are so emotional!
Kalki: Just to beat Abhay, I want to educate the poor, because education lasts a lifetime, but houses can be destroyed in a minute. Ha ha! And I wanna learn how to dance. I can't at all, and Hrithik is such a fabulous dancer.
Hrithik: Apart from teaching Kalki how to dance, I want the answer to this question!
Hrithik (on whether there were any funny moments): Yes, our mental boy, Abhay, usne kuch zyada kha liya aur uske pait mein visphot ho gaya. So while we went out to dinner that night, Abhay slept in the loo.
Aap Salman Khan aur Rahul Gandhi ko kya kahengi ki woh shaadi ke liye maan jayein, kyunki zindagi na milegi dobara?
Katrina: That's so mean – Abhay's not married either!

The Greek God and Barbie together for this film – how was the chemistry?
Abhay: Who? Ritesh-Zoya?

Farhan, do you believe zindagi milegi na dobara?
Farhan (after a second of surprised silence): Kya aap punarjanam ki baat kar rahe hain?

Rain washed away the dream to see Katrina, the stars left Udaipur

All hopes and anticipation to get a short glimpse of their favorite stars got washed away as the entire crew of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) unpredictably left Udaipur city without making any public appearance.
ZNMD star casts comprising of Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar checked-out from Hotel Shikarbadi after staying there overnight. The crew arrived last night at 11:30 from Ahmadabad and today they left for their next destination Jaipur at 12:00 p.m. They are  travelling by-road from Mumbai for promoting their upcoming movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Nothing was clear about the next plan and preparation of star casts but some unofficial sources assumed that the group might visit PVR Udaipur after a road show to some city areas. But it is also highly believed that the plan has suddenly changed due to rain and the entire team left without attending any meeting. Though there is no official announcement from the crew about why they didn’t stayed for long in the city.

The local media was on-its-toes since the news of Hrithik and Katrina’s arrival reached Udaipur on July 8, many reporters were seen waiting at night and early this morning outside Hotel Shikarbadi. Teams of tv news channels were accompanying the crew of ZNMD, however the crew has not entertained local Udaipur media who was waiting outside the Hotel since morning today.

Many fans also gathered outside Hotel Shikarbadi to take a look of Kat and Hrithik, some fortunate ones also got autograph from stars.

Katrina Kaif’s kiss-and-tell tale!

Mumbai: In Bollywood, on-screen kisses have always created huge ripples. And when the two stars are Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan, then it is bond to generate quite a curiosity.

Katrina and Hrithik’s liplock in ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ reportedly is the longest ever smooches in the history of Bollywood. However, the actress is completely unperturbed.

Talking to a daily about her on-screen kiss, Kat said, “Why give it so much importance? I don’t feel the sequence is even worth talking about. People won’t watch the film only for the kiss, I can promise you that. Personally too, I don’t give it any attention. People will come only if they are interested in the film, like the promos, or if they like the vibe of the film. It’s part of an actor’s job.”

Apparently, this is not the first time the actress has locked lips in a flick. Katrina’s steamy kiss with Gulshan Grover in ‘Boom’ (2003) was deleted from its DVDs.

However, Katrina Kaif is excited to share screen space with Greek god Hrithik for the first time in her career. “He is an amazingly talented person. I always wanted to work with him and I’m happy to have got the opportunity now. You can really learn a lot about focus, concentration and dedication from him,” she said.

Hmm….we couldn’t agree more with Katrina!

Katrina’s house is leaking!

As the monsoons have ushered in, the celebrated B-town actress Katrina Kaif, like any other common Mumbaikar, is reportedly having a difficult time putting up with a leaking house.
Apparently, the tinsel town diva lives in the topmost floor of a seven-storied building and thus, water easily seeps in through the walls of her flat, spoiling her furniture and other items in the house during the rainy days.

Talking about the leakage problem, Katrina said, "My house is leaking very badly. It is a seven-floor building and I live on the top floor. My living room has been leaking and I had to move all the furniture to one side and it makes me angry."

It’s learnt that in the rainy season, the B-town barbie doll doesn’t feel like working. The actress loves cozying up in bed and watch movies on rainy days.

“We were in Spain where every city is like a different kind of world. Valencia looks like a painting, in Barcelona we went for an all-night concert... these are experiences we don't get otherwise. That's the part of joy of making a movie, you are very privileged in that way.”
