Lara Dutta confirms her pregnancy?

Rumours of Bollywood beauty Lara Dutta's pregnancy have been doing rounds on the internet these days.

However, Lara and her husband Mahesh Bhupathi are yet to react to the rumour. The reason, which is feeding the rumour of Lara's pregnancy, is that the former beauty queen is spending more time in Bangalore rather than Mumbai.

The actress has not accepted any new assignment after Chalo Dilli. This is the second reason, which supports the rumor. Lara has just two films in her kitty, ‘Banda Yeh Bindas hai’ and Don 2, for which shooting has been completed.

Well, if news is correct, than Lara will be the second Bollywood actress after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to start the family.

The heiress was snapped with a noticeable bulge in the gut yesterday when she arrived at a Los Angeles mall to film a segment for the TV show Extra.

Now don't get us wrong, we're not saying Paris looks 'fat' – we've just never seen her with anything but a washboard-flat tummy and scary protruding hip bones. 

Naturally the pregnancy rumours have already started – the 30-year-old is currently dating Hangover Part II director Todd Phillips - but it's possible her man could be the cause of her belly for a whole other reason - the couple were spotted out for dinner the night before these pics were taken and Paris was tucking into… shock, horror… lasagne.

Pregnant Emily Deschanel goes vegan

Actress Emily Deschanel, who is married to actor David Hornsby, has adopted a new vegan diet as she is expecting her first child. 

"What we want to do is give the body just enough energy so that it performs well. She loves nut, butters and sometimes we'll do fun smoothies, especially if she's at work. We'll take coconut water, nut butter, and berries and make a smoothie so she's got something to sustain her energy in a liquid form," Deschanel's dietitian Ashley Koff told people.com. The baby is due later this year.

Pregnant Aishwarya's day out

The actress's first public appearance after the news about her pregnancy was revealed... Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's much awaited public appearance may happen this Thursday as she is slated to attend the French National Day celebrations in Mumbai. From the time father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan announced that his bahu is pregnant, Ash has been maintaining a low profile and she hasn't been seen in public except while exiting a multiplex in Juhu last week. The National Day of France also known as Bastille Day is celebrated every year on July 14. The French Embassy this year is hosting an event at a South Mumbai hotel and according to sources the Bachchan bahu is definitely going to attend it. The actress's presence at the evening is ensured by the fact that an international French brand she has been an ambassador for over a decade now, is part of the evening's sponsor list. As part of the celebrations, designers Rahul Mishra, Nachiket Barve and Narendra Kumar are designing costumes inspired by the French flag. Nachiket Barve for whom Aishwarya has been a muse, is making a garment embodying the spirit of France using its national colours of red, white and blue. So is he also creating something special for Ash for that day? Nachiket says, "She has sported my garments in the past and it's always a pleasure to dress her up. Her presence in itself is great attraction to the evening."

Pregnant Pause

It isn’t often that an actress takes a gamble like announcing that she’s expecting a child when she’s riding high on her career. The news of Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan’s pregnancy, which was announced by her delighted father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan on June 21, came hot on the heels of the publicity being generated by her next big film project, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine. The project, which had long been in the news for lack of a lead actress — a lot of names were thrown around including Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra — seemed to have finally got underway, when it was announced officially at Cannes in May. But that was only till the news of Rai-Bachchan’s pregnancy came in. 

In their official press statement, the film’s producers UTV Motion Pictures, declared that nothing is more important than the actress’s well-being. “In that context, we have all mutually agreed that the best step would be to avoid shooting further, rather than proceeding with an incredibly demanding schedule over the coming months. Even as we will truly miss this opportunity to work with Aishwarya, the entire unit wishes her the very best for the exciting time ahead, as she and Abhishek move into this special new phase in their lives.” Director Madhur Bhandarkar’s office repeated the same. However, the fate of the film, and Rai-Bachchan’s role in it, remains ambiguous.
