We catch up with Stewart and Lautner to talk Breaking Dawn

We cornered Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner last week in San Diego to see if we could squeeze any “Breaking Dawn” spoilers out of them; didn’t have much luck, but Taylor did suggest we’ll be seeing his abs again – so that’s enough to hold us over, right!?

The previous films were fairly close to the books; what about ”Breaking Dawn”?
Kristen : It’s pretty true to the book – so if that’s what you thought about the previous films you’ll definitely [feel the same with Breaking Dawn].  The story this time is a little bit more life and death, in a realistic sense – - what with Bella pregnant with a demon baby. It’s the first time, I think, that you’re not worried about Edward and Bella breaking up, they’re actually working through issues that are kind of make or break… I don’t know how to say it without giving away all the story.

What do you think about them splitting “Breaking Dawn” into two movies
Taylor : I think it’s perfect; it needed to be done. This Part 1 is amazing, I can’t wait for everyone to see it.

Would you say this was the most difficult book to bring to the big screen?
Absolutely. It was very challenging. There was a lot of stuff that was just.. difficult to show.. difficult to do.. and Jacob goes through a lot – I mean, his number one goal has been to always end up with Bella, and of course we know that doesn’t exactly happen; from the beginning of the movie to the end he changes a lot.. he’s forced to mature.

What do you remember from the very last day of shooting?
Kristen : The very last day of shooting I was in a wetsuit and – I’d been in the water for like ten-hours, literally; it was tough to ‘get the light’ or whatever – I ran over to my producer Godfrey and wrapped my legs around his waist, because he didn’t get in the water all night; so I took him on in, it was fun.

And Taylor, will we get to see more of your Abs before the “Twilight” series comes to an end?
Taylor : [Laughs] Um.. I’m not sure, I’ll guess you’ll have to wait and see.

Catch the first look of Kristen Stewart in 'Snow White and the Huntsman'

Kristen Stewart’s look in the movie Snow White and the Huntsman was recently revealed and we can easily vouch that it definitely contradicts with the Snow White fairy tales we heard in our childhood days!

In the posters released, Kristen Stewart is a fighter Snow White and dons armour and wields a sword! Directed by Rupert Sanders,
Snow White and the Huntsman has been dealt with a unique approach, and thus Kristen does not appear as the usual ‘Snow Whites’ we have seen in the past!

Snow White and the Huntsman
has a twist in the original fairytale, wherein the huntsman ordered to kill Snow White ends up training her and mentoring her, in an attempt to fight and defeat the evil queen.

Interestingly, Kristen Stewart’s Snow White avatar contradicts
Lily Collins’ Snow White look for her currently-untitled Snow White project. While Lily Collins looks the usual cute and well-dressed Snow White in her shiny locks and brightly coloured princess gown, Kristen seems to be the warrior princess and depicts the darker side of Snow White.

Snow White and the Huntsman
also stars Chris Hemsworth (the huntsman), Sam Claflin (the prince) and Charlize Theron (the evil queen); however, it is Kristen Stewart’s look that comes as a surprise package!

Watch this space. We will post the trailer as soon as it is released.

Kristen Stewart Smells Like What?

It's not just Kristen Stewart's beauty, charm, charisma, talent, and intelligence that captivated Robert Pattinson. So what else is there? Why, her smell of course. Not her perfume, but her natural, quintessential scent; which is more than understandable. A woman who can still look breathtakingly beautiful even utterly without make-up must have a natural scent that's indescribable. Light and ethereal, yet powerfully sexy; definitive, but not overwhelming. Uniquely her own, yet oddly evocative of a variety of olfactory delights. Wildflowers perhaps, or a potpourri of natural spices. Or the clean fresh morning air after a light rain.

Alas, the answer is none of the above. So what does Kristen Stewart smell like?

Grass. Yes, reportedly, Robert Pattinson's lady-love smells like grass. And not the interesting kind of grass--the kind you'd smoke in
Miley Cyrus's discarded bong. Kristen Stewart smells like the regular kind of grass--the boring kind that grows out on your lawn. In fact, according to legendary Hollywood producer, Arthur Cohn, the Twilight leading lady "smells like freshly mown grass, she never uses perfume."

Well, at least now we know what Robert Pattinson's second favorite household activity will be if the Breaking Dawn couple ever buys a house. With a yard. With a lawn.

You go, K-Stew.

Robert Pattinson to sing on 'Breaking Dawn' soundtrack?

Robert Pattinson to sing on 'Breaking Dawn' soundtrack?
Speculation is rife in Twilight circles as to who will be singing on the forthcoming soundtrack to Breaking Dawn. In an interview with MTV, director Bill Condon, revealed that a cast member will indeed show their vocal abilities for the tie-in OST.

When pushed as to who that cast member might be, he simply said, "it's gonna be a surprise".

While the frontrunner among fans is
R-Patz himself, those old enough to watch The Runaways, Kirsten Stewart's biopic of the punk group of the same name, will know that the Bella actress can pelt out a number herself.

In the interview,
Condon also explained that he sees the Twilight films coming full circle, in much the way Harry Potter did:
"I always thought of Breaking Dawn: Part One to be a real companion piece to Catherine Hardwicke's movie. I think everything that's set-up there, gets resolved here."
Breaking Dawn: Part One will be Bill Condon's first appearance in the Twilight Saga after making his name with the Oscar-winning Gods and Monsters, he also wrote the adapted screenplay for Chicago.

Breaking Dawn: Part One
will be released in the UK on November 18 with Part Two following a year later in 2012.

Twilight parents repulsed by baby?

Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who play the roles of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in the vampire film series The Twilight Saga, are repulsed by the robotic baby they had to interact with while shooting for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Kirsten Stewart, who says that having the baby was one of her favourite parts in the book, was freaked out when she had to work with a robotic baby operated by a crew member.

The 21-year-old actress, who played the role of the baby's mother, says that while filming, when the robot got too close to her face, it would stick to her hair, and pull it a bit when removed. A leading website reports that while filming Stewart used to feel like saying, “Ugh! Get that thing off me. Get me a baby. This is ridiculous.” Robert Pattinson, who plays the role of the baby's vampire father, has said that he was repulsed by the robotic baby as it looked like something straight out of a horror movie. He even likened the baby to Chucky from Child's Play.

Kristen Stewart freaked out by 'Twilight' baby

'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart was horrified by the robotic baby she had to work with in 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn'.

The 21-year-old actress, who plays Bella Swan in the vampire film series says that the experience was different than what she thought because they used a robotic child, which was operated by a member of the crew, reported Daily Star online.

"In the book that was one of my favourite parts. But filming it, this guy's sweating under your eye line, they get the hand up to touch your face and then it sticks to your hair and pulls a little bit. You're like, 'Ugh! Get that thing off me. Get me a baby, this is ridiculous.' It had hair and it's a newborn baby. Occasionally I couldn't pick up the kid," said Stewart.

Robert Pattinson, who plays the baby's vampire father Edward, was also repulsed by the artificial baby as it looked like something from a horror movie.

"It's Chucky from 'Child's Play'," Pattinson said.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart: Full Comic Con Interview (watch)

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner provided some revealing insights into the filming of “Breaking Dawn, Part 1,” at Comic Con.

Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Elizabeth Reaser, Booboo Stewart and Julia Jones were also on hand at the convention.

One of the highlights of “Breaking Dawn” events was the extensive news conference involving the Twilight trio.
Kristen, for example, explained the lengths the movie company went to keep Bella’s wedding dress a secret.
“The wedding was secret-service style. It was insane. The crew was completely inconvenienced and grumbling around set,” she said at the “Breaking Dawn” press conference.

“You don’t understand what this means to us,” she said she told the security team. “If this dress gets on the Internet, I’ll die.”

The birth of Bella’s half-human, half-vampire baby was another key movie scene that produced an unexpected reaction.

“We had an animatronic baby, the scene where [Bella] had to be introduced to the baby for the first time,” Pattinson explained during Thursday’s press conference.

“[The puppeteer] is sweating right below my eyeline, trying to [reach] up to get the [animatronic baby's] hand up to touch your face,” Stewart said.

“And then it sticks to your hair and pulls a little bit and you’re like, ‘Ew, get that thing off me! Get me a real baby, this is ridiculous!’ ” she said. “And it had hair!”

“If you’ve ever seen a baby with a wig on …,” Pattinson offered. “[It] looked like a little troll on a stick.”

Hollywood hunts for fan love at Comic-Con

"Snow White and the Huntsman," the fairy tale project that begins shooting next week in the U.K. with Kristen Stewart of "Twilight" fame as the lead, has some tough hurdles to overcome. It's competing with another "Snow White" project from Relativity Media that has already begun filming and features Julia Roberts as the evil queen. It's also set to come out June 1, three months after Relativity's "Snow White" movie will debut — and close to two months before a Comic-Con International audience will be back in San Diego.

What's a studio to do?

How about recruit fans at Comic-Con 2011 with some stills of the cast in costume, a charming British director with an impressive commercial reel and a crew of good-looking lead actors? That's what Universal Pictures did Saturday afternoon during a panel featuring Stewart, evil queen Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth as the huntsman and Sam Claflin ("Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides") as the prince.

It was one of a number of high-profile pitches from Hollywood, blatantly trying to channel the fan energy pooling in every hall, room and corridor of Comic-Con into buzz and ticket sales for new projects. Along with "Snow White and the Huntsman," "The Amazing Spider-Man," "Cowboys and Aliens" and "Conan the Barbarian" offered up cast members and more to eager audiences at the festival, which closed Sunday.

The fun of the "Snow White" panel came from the cast, with Theron providing most of the comic relief. Since the cast just met each other recently, moderator Dave Karger, from Entertainment Weekly magazine, conducted a series of ice-breakers, questions like "What are you like on the set? Do you like to improv?"

"I'm very well-behaved," said Stewart, who added she is excited to wear her armor and carry a shield as a Snow White with little resemblance to the Disney princess that sings to the birds. "I take myself very seriously."

"You'll be fine, Kristen," responded Theron, who compared her evil queen to a serial killer, one with a fantastic costume designed by Academy Award winner Colleen Atwood. "I'm an Oscar winner, so I take myself very seriously," she said with a laugh.

Stewart got into the fun when asked whether she's like her character. "I'd like to be more like her …. But I am the fairest in the land, and I have a seriously good heart," she said. Added Hemsworth: "And she really likes apples."

Sanders also introduced a photo of his eight dwarves — a who's who of the British acting scene: Nick Frost, Ray Winstone, Toby Jones, Ian McShane, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan, Eddie Izzard and Stephen Graham. Why there are eight dwarves? "Because there are a few great lines when one of them gets killed," Sanders said.

One fan asked about the casting challenges Universal had with finding its huntsman, a role Hemsworth took only after a long line of actors, including Viggo Mortensen and Tom Hardy, turned it down. Said Hemsworth, fresh off his role as superhero Thor: "The teaser was impressive, the script was fantastic. I'm pretty simple. Either I like it or I don't. This sounded like fun…. Plus, there was no one else left."

'Glee's' graduation quandry

At the "Glee" panel held Sunday, some things got murkier when co-creator and executive producer Brad Falchuk attempted to clear things up. Remember all those reports in which co-creator Ryan Murphy was quoted as saying stars Chris Colfer, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith would be graduating this season and not returning for the show's fourth? And remember Chris Colfer commenting on it as well? Well, Falchuck is saying the exodus isn't so.

"Just because they're graduating, doesn't mean they are leaving the show," he said. "It is not our intention to let them go … they are not done with the show."

Later, Falchuk said the executive producers had explored the option of a spin-off with with Kurt (Colfer) and Rachel (Michele) but are "leaning against doing it."

Falchuk reiterated that the upcoming season would be less heavy on stunt casting and special episodes. But he didn't deny that a tribute episode was a possibility.

And don't cry a river for Mercedes (Amber Riley). She will be getting another love interest whom she will have met over the summer. He'll drive her arc in the first half of the season.

Garfield is Spidey sensitive

After the teaser trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man" was released this week to lukewarm reception, Sony was charged with wowing audiences at Comic-Con with its reboot of the web-slinger franchise, this time directed by Marc Webb ("(500) Days of Summer").

The trailer played well to the packed room Friday, but it was the new Peter Parker himself, Andrew Garfield, who won fans over: He stood up in the audience in Hall H in a low-rent Spider-Man costume and delivered an emotional speech about how much he loved the character.
